This position is responsible for administering and coordinating all updates to the BREEZE loan origination system. The System/Network Administrator will also be responsible for making sure all environments are in sync and updated properly, as well as performing updates and upgrades to other Plaza systems as they come.        
Must comply with all BSA/AML requirements as well as any mandatory changes. The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The associate will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the manager.  Job duties may change as required by needs of company.  Must complete all required industry and compliance training as required by Plaza Home Mortgage.
  1. Track and schedule all migrator updates for each BREEZE environment.
  2. Confirm all updates are done properly and documented per established guidelines.
  3. Review all vendor updates to BREEZE and determine their impact to our current configurations and determine what changes need to be made to existing customizations.
  4. Configure all new servers into the BREEZE environment as it pertains to the application itself.
  5. Help review and make decisions on new systems to be added to the Plaza environment.
  6. Maintain and update existing and new systems in the Plaza environment.
  7. Provide documentation for the updates and customizations done to all systems in the Plaza environment.
  8. Document and maintain application environments.
  9. Provide day-to-day administrative and engineering support for Plaza’s computer and network systems, including server management, load balancing, storage management, data and voice network components, data security and VoIP systems and other network resources.
  10. Responsible for the maintenance and functionality of Plaza’s networks.
  11. Ensure network meets industry standards for high availability, ensuring uptime during Plaza’s hours of operations
  12. Manage all aspects related to Network integration projects.
  13. Participate in the development and execution of the user acceptance test plans.
  14. Create new documentation and processes as needed to help refine, optimize, and/or establish network functions and processes.
  15. Respond to networking tickets and support requests.
  16. Troubleshoot network and system issues.
  17. Monitor active network and server infrastructure.
  18. Design, build, configure, and document network/security connectivity.
  19. Provide recommendations for system upgrades, patches, new applications, and new equipment for Plaza.
  20. Other duties and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology discipline
  • Proficiency with computer systems and the ability to troubleshoot computer issues is essential
  • Experience with MS SQL server and MS Windows Server needed.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively and consistently produce accurate work
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting of network devices.
  • Knowledge of standard network hardware.
