Plaza Home Mortgage, Inc., a national wholesale mortgage company headquartered in San Diego, California, has an opportunity for a Regional Vice President of East Coast Production with our Jacksonville, Florida Wholesale Branch.

This position will oversee Plaza’s East Coast Wholesale production, partner with Sales Managers on ensuring quality customer service and business knowledge from all Account Executives within their territory, and ensure monthly production goals are met. The Regional Vice President of East Coast Production will develop ways to increase market share and sales in the East Coast Regions.  
Must comply with all BSA/AML requirements as well as any mandatory changes. The following job functions are not all-inclusive.  The associate will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the manager.  Job duties may change as required by the needs of the company.  Must complete all required industry and compliance training as required by Plaza Home Mortgage.
  • Oversee all sales activity and performance within the East Coast Regions in collaboration with EVP, National Wholesale Production.
  • Oversee and manage Jacksonville and Boston Wholesale Branches.
  • Assist in the review of loan packages if needed, to ensure compliance with underwriting standards.
  • Answer Account Executive inquiries regarding policy and procedure.
  • Assist in the development of new marketing opportunities.
  • Maintain familiarity with the applicable state licensing requirements.
  • Ensure Account Executives are gathering all applicable financials, resumes, licenses, and contract documentation for submission to Regional Management.
  • Maintain contact with client base as a quality control measure.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferre
  • Minimum of five years of experience in loan origination with a track record of success in the mortgage industry
  • Ability to motivate and lead staff
  • Current producing client base is strongly desired
  • Must possess solid understanding of wholesale loan origination, underwriting processes and procedures, and mortgage industry standards
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills essential
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Professional demeanor to effectively interact with all branch and company personnel, as well as brokers
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to efficiently and consistently produce accurate work and manage time
  • Solid commitment to customer service with excellent client relations skills
  • Analytical ability with an aptitude for figures necessary
  • Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Internet Browsers
  • Company personnel who will be driving on company business will be required to maintain a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a clean driving record
