PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB AND CONTRIBUTION TO ORGANIZATION:

This position is responsible for tracking new and existing bulk commitments, including delivery and settlement, loan registrations, cancellations and pair-offs, and reporting. The Loan Registration Specialist interacts and works well with correspondent division operations staff, sales executives, customers, and secondary marketing.         


Job Requirements
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Must comply with all BSA/AML requirements as well as any mandatory changes. The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The associate will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the manager.  Job duties may change as required by needs of company.  Must complete all required industry and compliance training as required by Plaza Home Mortgage.
  1. Save initial bulk commitment information and track subsequent loan submissions and purchases.
  2. Communicate directly with correspondents as needed regarding registrations, submissions, purchases, and commitment expirations.
  3. Partner with the sales team to ensure operational demands are meeting customers’ expectations for bulk commitments and file flow process.
  4. Prepare reports for division and customer use to track bulks from initial commitment to fulfillment.
  5. Register committed loans in PULSE for correspondents.
  6. Monitor cancellations and denials for substitution or pair-off.
  7. Maintain spreadsheet of all trades for division-wide reference.
  8. Monitor all new loan submissions from Plaza’s Broker/Correspondent Portal to Plaza’s Internal LOS team.
  9. Perform Data Entry in Plaza’s LOS.
  10. Primary back up in the event team members are out.
  11. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school degree or equivalent –college degree preferred
  • Two or more years of related experience in credit or loan processing preferred
  • Excellent  written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to consistently produce accurate work
  • Ability to manage time, multi-task, and prioritize work in a high paced environment with heavy volume of transactions
  • Solid commitment to customer and associate service
  • Outstanding interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in both a team and individual environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Internet Browsers
  • Knowledge of loan origination systems such as Caylx Point, Ellie Mae, and other mortgage-related vendors are required
  • Ability to monitor and oversee loan collateral pipelines
