PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB AND CONTRIBUTION TO ORGANIZATION:

This role will provide operational support to the corporate operations team on a daily basis. 
 

ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
The following job functions are not all-inclusive.  The associate will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the manager.  Job duties may change as required by needs of company.  Must complete all required industry and compliance training as required by Plaza Home Mortgage.
 
  1. Assist Corporate Operations Quality Manager with creating and updating the Lending Operations Manual and completing Resource Center projects.
  2. Assist with the research, creation, and development of company policies and procedures, including the review of currently published P&P.
  3. Coordinate daily preparation of reports and testing of LOS policies and procedures.
  4. Serve as a back up for Operations Loan Assistants in Closing Agent Approval processes.
  5. Provide additional support for Corporate Post Closing.



Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Mortgage experience required
  • Working knowledge of Loan Origination Systems such as; Integra, DataTrac, Calyx Point, and Ellie Mae
  • Familiar with document management systems such as; DocuTech, DocMagic or IDS
  • Working knowledge of industry compliance requirements such as; TRID, RESPA, and other Federal and State regulations
  • Understanding of Wholesale and Correspondent process flow
  • Knowledge of Reverse mortgage processes a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
  • Ability to effectively interact with all company personnel
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage time and prioritize work
  • Solid commitment to customer service with exceptional client relations skills
  • Capability of multi-tasking and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment with heavy volume of transactions as well as be able to meet and handle deadlines
  • Outstanding problem-solving and independent judgment skills
  • Awareness of Plaza’s competition, commitment to customer service, and our client needs
  • Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
