Plaza Home Mortgage, Inc., a national wholesale mortgage company headquartered in San Diego, California, has a temporary opportunity for a Corporate Operations Assistant with our San Diego, California Corporate Office.

This position will provide administrative support to the National Operations department.
Must comply with all BSA/AML requirements as well as any mandatory changes. The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The associate will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the manager.  Job duties may change as required by needs of company.  Must complete all required industry and compliance training as required by Plaza Home Mortgage.
  1. Assist Corporate Operations Loan Quality Manager with Lending Operations Manual and Resource Center projects.
  2. Access vendor site to determine agent status, upload documentation and request research as applicable.
  3. Enter approved agents and companies into Plaza’s system of record (LOS) and keep virtual records of all due-diligence documentation.
  4. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
  • Ability to effectively interact with all company personnel
  • Exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage time and prioritize work
  • Solid commitment to customer service and outstanding client relation skills
  • Awareness of Plaza’s competition, commitment to customer service and to our clients' needs
  • Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
